First Trail run of the year is this Sunday. Start getting your points early. Remember those great prizes that Van Ornum Woodworking gave out last year to the series and King of the Mountain points winners? Sugoi Tech T’s only go to pre-registered persons.
This run is truly a very beautiful course. You will not be disappointed for the longer drive. On Friday I will be emailing out directions on how to get there, for now please review on the event tab on the website.
The course map has been updated here: Course map . I strongly suggest you take a map with you during your run. We do mark the course with chalk, ribbon, and some arrows, but we don’t want any lost runners out there. We are going to use red ribbon on the straights, and yellow at the corners. So you turn on the side the ribbon is on. Look for chalk arrows as well.
When accessing the park, please look for our signs. There is about a 5 mile stretch when you leave the set of lights where you drive through the BLM lands. There are no real signs marking the roads. We use white signs that say parking ahead. Use the same markers when exiting.
Important! Remember the time change this Saturday night. The first running wave (20k) will be leaving at 8:30 am.
