We have posted the results from Nisene with points. Click here to view: Points
Please contact Greg with any issues.
The Quicksilver run is quickly approaching (pun). Be sure to register soon. We have no limits on this one, lets take advantage. Please pass this on your clubs (Quicksilver club as well). This will be a similar course as we had last time, but we may run backwards. It's a surprize.
We will have Sockguy socks for you as swag, we also have leftover Sweatvac hats if you would like one instead.
Thanks
Greg

Congratulations to all the young athletes who competed this year in our new series. The results are up here: Results and the points totals for the year are up here: Points Totals. We should mention there are a few athletes who moved up into another division as the year went on. They are still considered the winner of their division. Here is a list of division winners:
Seniors
Ben Haderle
Allison Koopman
Intermediate
Luke Lenhart
Devon Ottinger
Juniors
Gavin Frank-Mehrtens
Gwyneth Do
Super Juniors
Estevan Osuna
Sara Bergamasco
Great job kids. We will be mailing a prize to you soon! Please contact greg@svendurance.com with any issues on this past event or points.
I did want to mention one negative. These events are supposed to be fun. While we need your registrations to make these work, we do not need parents yelling at their kids, volunteers, or other parents. The slow zone is for all kids. It was emailed, it was announced, and it was marked. Next year we will disqualify right away if we are ignored. It's for safety.
Please send us feedback as we are always striving for a better event. Better location? Better food? Better dates?
Here are some samples of pictures coming up soon from Scott Schilling Photography.

The results for Fort Ord are up here: Results. Great job by all riders. The course was much tougher this time around.
How did everyone like being filmed by MTV? I was a little frazzled. But it was fun. And Emily finished her race! Great job. We will let everyone know when the episode airs.
Photos are up here: Link Please support the photographer. It's a lot of work to come out. Send the link to your familiy members and friends.
We do want to thank all volunteers. My mom and Earl for cooking, all the course workers, course markers and persons clearing. Paul Thompson who filmed Emily with a helmet cam. Without all of you we could not do this.
Please let us know what you thought. Thank you.

The results have been posted for the Nisene Trail run. Here is a link: Results
We wanted to thank all the runners who came out and did fantastic job. The 7 year old was very cute finishing her 5k.
These events would be impossible without the support of volunteers who mark the course, work corners, handle food, and cheer you on. We had volunteers all the way from San Rafael, Morgan Hill (South Valley Running Club), Fresno, and Pacific Grove. Thank you.
We also need to thank the State Park Service.
Pictures are up here: Link Take a look at these. They are beautiful. Please support the photographer. Send to family and friends. It's a long drive and a lot of work.
Thanks

The athlete guide is up for the Dirty Gear MTB XC race at Fort Ord this Saturday. Please read thoroughly. Give yourself enough time to get there. Once you leave the highway it is still a good 20 minutes.
Guide
Please pay special attention to parking.
The course is a lot of fun. There are sandy sections so beware. The famous sand downhill is like powder right now.
I rode it on my hardtail and it seemed good.
We are raffling off Look peddles, (2) Concept Bike Fits, and an Orthopaedic evaluation from Active Spinal. Make sure to get raffle tickets and turn them in. They are free.
Do not forget your US Cycling License if you have one.
Thanks

Well I do not think the weather is any issue this week! This should be a great event. I will be down a few times this week spotting filming locations for MTV. Maybe I'll see some pre-runners down there.
The course map is up along with a rough profile. This is a great course. The athlete guide will be mailed out on Thursday.
Prize money updates- The beginner class has hit the requireed threshold. The Sport and Expert class have not. Tell your friends if you want to win some money!
Concept Cyclery, Active Spinal, Look Cycles, and a few other sponsors will be there.
You never know, maybe you will appear on MTV's video.
